Thirty-two Merrimack women’s track and field athletes named to MAAC All-Academic Team

Thirty-two student-athletes from the Merrimack College women’s track and field team were named to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) All-Academic Team, according to a May 8 announcement by the conference.

The recognition is given to student-athletes who have completed at least two semesters at their institution and maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

Among those honored are Jennifer Baker, Casey Bednarek, Gracie Bleyer, Lauren Boughner, Maci Chapman, Marianna Collins, Sydney Connolly, Shealin Conroy, Carlie Cronin, Madison DeCamp, Rylee Dionne, Waimea Dodge, Dylin Duggan, Olivia Erler, Keira Fadden, Briana Farrell, Avaline Fihlman, Caitlin Garrahy, Olivia Guckian, Kiley Halpin, Courtney Hinchion, Julia Holt, Ella McDonough, Kiera O’Brien, Jacqueline Perry, Kristina Ponzio, Katherine Sills, Lily Thomas , Isabella Tomic , Caroline White , Angelina Zaykovskaya , and Cameron Zuliani. These students represent a range of academic disciplines including forensic science; entrepreneur and small business management; nursing; sport management; psychology; nutritional sciences; exercise science; health science; human development and human services/teacher education; civil engineering; criminology and criminal justice; biology; rehabilitation sciences.

The Warriors are set to begin competition in the MAAC Outdoor Championships tomorrow in Emmitsburg.
