The Merrimack Warriors men’s lacrosse team defeated the Canisius Golden Griffins 13-9 on Apr. 11, following a strong second half performance led by Colin Kruger, who scored four goals after halftime.

The win was highlighted by the Warriors’ offensive surge in the last two quarters, where they netted nine goals in total. Kruger’s contribution in the second half proved crucial for Merrimack as they pulled away from their opponent.

Finn Dougherty recorded his second hat trick of the season, while Casey Herod led the team with two assists and added a goal. Additional scoring came from Carmine Jaconi, John Savino, Jack Salva, Alystair Hemberger, and Brendan Harty, each tallying one goal. Jaconi and Hemberger also contributed an assist apiece.
