The Warriors defeated Iona 7-4 after a late comeback on March 14, scoring four runs in the eighth inning to secure the win.

The game was highlighted by Brooks Craigue’s triple down the right field line in the eighth, which drove in the winning run. Craigue finished with two hits and two runs batted in, bringing his total to six RBIs over the past three games.

Nick Hunkele started for the Warriors, pitching five innings and allowing three runs while striking out seven batters. Michael Bradshaw earned the win by delivering two scoreless innings of relief, and Cole Yennaco closed out the ninth inning to earn the save.

Matt DeShiro contributed two RBIs, including a double in the fifth inning that scored a run and another RBI after Craigue’s triple. Garrett McGovern drove in a runner for the third time in four games and hit one of four team doubles. Jack Andrews also drove in a run with a double during the fifth inning.

Joey Frammartino, who leads the team in on-base percentage, recorded two singles. Jayden Hamilton added two hits as well. The Warriors will aim to complete their sweep against Iona with another game scheduled for tomorrow at noon.
