On Wednesday, March 12, former St. John’s Preparatory School standout Joe Castrichini’s current college team, the Longwood Lancers, won 9-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UMass Lowell Riverhawks.
The game took place at Buddy Bolding Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Riverhawks this season.
The Lancers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 1 p.m. at Thomas Baseball Stadium against East Tennessee State Buccaneers.
