SELECT BOARD SEEKING APPLICANTS FOR ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS | https://andoverma.gov/
The Andover Select Board is seeking candidates to serve on the Zoning Board of Appeals. The Zoning Board of Appeals issues special permits, grants variances and comprehensive permits, and hears appeals from decisions of the Building Commissioner under the authority of M.G.L. Chapters 40A and 40B, as well as the Andover Zoning Bylaw. The Zoning Board of Appeals meets monthly, typically the first Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m.
There are three seats available: one regular member seat and two associate member seats. All positions would be effective July 1, 2023.
Residents interested in being considered for appointment should complete a Talent Bank Form by Friday, April 7 at 4:30 PM online at: www.andoverma.gov/volunteer.
It is expected that a subcommittee of the Select Board will interview interested candidates in April or May.
