Hill Collects CCC Rookie Of The Week Accolades
Endicott freshman guard Jeff Hill (Lynn, Mass.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office earlier today.
Last week for the Gulls, Hill closed out his first CCC regular season campaign by helping the Gulls to a pair of wins, averaging 15.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in the process.
His play also aided the Gulls in clinching the No. 3 seed in the upcoming CCC Tournament.
Hill's week began on Wednesday (Feb. 15) when he dropped 18 points and grabbed five boards in a narrow 76-74 win over Roger Williams. He also had two assists against the Hawks.
He followed that up with a 12-point, three-assist, two-rebound performance on Saturday (Feb. 18) against Salve Regina to close out the regular season.
Hill shot 50.0 percent from the floor last week going 13-for-26.
This is his sixth CCC Rookie of the Week award this season.
